Hola Hola, from Venezuela!!!

I wanted to stop by and say hello to you all!!!... We arrived Wednesday night, after long long hours of traveling. It's funny how close we were (Panama) and it took us soooo long to get here... But, in Venezuela many things don't work how they should :\. I must tell you a secret though, I was very brave when I took this picture for you guys!. I'm not a big fan of planes, and I keep the window shut must of the time, so I had to open it!!! can you believe it!? plus, I didn't take just one picture, I took several just in case some were out of focus. That's what I do for you my lovely readers ;). It's silly I know, some might think that I'm a little old to be scared of planes, but I don't really like knowing that there's NOTHING under us.

In this picture I wanted to show you a bit of what I'm working on. I thought I could work on it on the plane, and that it could help me think on something other than "I'm I-don't-know-how-many-thousand-feet off the ground" but my hands were shaking horribly and I couldn't concentrate really. How embarrassing!

One of the things I'm enjoying the most is (of course) the food, oh my! is provably what I've missed the most, and the beaches :). I've taken pictures of our food for you to see later. Don't expect elegant dishes or exotic ingredients, some may seem boring but I assure you'll love it if you tried it sometime... I'll post some more pictures soon.

I'm going to bed now, we have a long day tomorrow. I hope you have a great weekend!!!

See you soon.
Chao, Chao

A little question for you...

I found a little break from my busy-crazy days to post a question for you guys. I told you on my last post that I've prepared new things for my blog... One of the "things" is a weekly "special day" (I can't tell you much about it, it wouldn't be fun anymore, right?). I would like to know, what day of the week do you guys have more time to work on your crafty projects?. Let me explain a little. I know many of you have kids, many of you work, many are busy during the week, or on weekends, or you may go to church on sunday, I don't know. Maybe you have more time than others, and you craft everyday?.....or, maybe it's part of your job. I actually like to work on my projects, on the late afternoon, or even better, at night, any day of the week. But what about you? are you busy at work and you wait until saturday or sunday for some crafty time? :). Or while your kids are at school in the morning you tried to sew or crochet something?. I could give you many many examples. Well, you don't really have to have a specific day to work on some project, it could also be "any time".

I'm going to post a "poll" where you can tell me what day of the week you like to work on your crafts or if you don't have preference between one day or the other, like me :) I'll post it at the bottom of the page.

I know you'll like what I've planned... Vote, and you'll see in a couple of week what I'm talking about. ;)

It's almost time for me to go to Venezuela! We leave on Wednesday and come back at the end of this month. I'll be posting from there...

Thanks for visiting!!! Don't forget to vote.

Hola Readers

I know I haven't been posting lately, I'm still busy busy :\. I wanted to say Hi! to you all. We're still planning our trip to Venezuela, we finally leave next week... YAY!!! I'll definitely show you some pictures of my country :) and also of a few exciting projects that I'm working on ;) So, you just have to keep visiting me ^_^

Talking about visitors, I forgot to tell you something!!! I already have 500+ visits to my blog. I know it doesn't sound like too much but I've been blogging for almost 3 months now and I'm just sooo excited. Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to look at the things I LOVE to make. Oh! and also, I have (1) follower hehe... How exciting!!! She's Becca-Lou and she makes beautiful things. She's been following me for a few weeks now, and I just "discovered" how to put the little Follow button on my blog (duh!). So now you can follow me too :). I love that Follow button myself, when I started reading blogs, I didn't know much about it so I kept my favorite ones bookmarked before I actually started Following :). Much more comfortable, don't you think? everyday you read the list of new posts instead of going from blog to blog to find out if something was posted that day. Anyway, Follow me, so you don't miss any of the new stuff I'm preparing for my lovely readers :) from Free Patterns, to New Tutorials and a new Etsy store... :) Yes, you don't wanna miss it! :)

Now I have to go back to my suitcase... I'll be back soon... ;)

Enjoy!!!
