Santa Claus is coming to town...

Hello again! I haven't been writing much because things have been really busy around here, and so I don't have a lot of free time for crafting. Although!, I made some clay buttons for a customer on Sunday... and I couldn't really wait to blog about it. That's why even if my eyes are half closed right now, I'm writting here ^_^ Oh! and I haven't tell you this... my computer died on an accident :( Yes!!! It fell off the couch and it landen on one of the corners and we haven't been able turn it back on since then... Well, I don't really know if it's really dead but I NEED MY COMPUTER BACK!!! Anyway, I'm really sleepy to think about it... I better show you the pics...

Beautiful Reclycling!

I had to show you these pictures!!! I took them while walking in a beautiful street in Orlando. Is one of those pictures you take specifically for your blog you know?... One of those moments when you see something so "postable". This is a store that sales art, but everything is made with reclycled materials. They make amazing things. Such a good inspiration!!! Look....

This was made with regular plastic water or soda bottles. The cut them in strips and painted stripes on each piece...
Look at these flowers!!! Can you believe these are plastic bottles!!! at first I thought it was glass, you know like the ones made by this glass artist, Chihuli? If you don't know who he is, you should look it up... He's just AMAZING!

What about these??? I love them... So simple and so beautiful right?

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

Christmas is finally here, the most wonderful time of the year!!!. I made dessert for you my lovely readers!. So, I have officially given you the first present...

It's Arroz con Leche or Rice Pudding.

It's a Latin dessert. I bet some of you have tried it before. The recipe varies in every country, I know that in Colombia they add some raisins and some other spices. Here in Venezuela is common to make it with cinnamon mmm... Delicious!

I'll share my recipe with you, but don't tell anyone, it's a secret ;)

Ingredients:
- 1 cup of rice
- 2 1/2 cups of water
- 4 cups of milk
- 1 cup of sugar (If you want it sweeter you can add some more, I like it with just one)
Cinnamon sticks
Powdered Cinnamon
Pinch of salt

Process:
In a saucepan over medium heat, cook the water, rice and salt. When the rice is soft and the grain begin to slit open add the 4 cups of milk, cinnamon sticks and sugar. Cook on medium-low heat until creamy. I would say about 30 mins. Mix constantly so the milk won't burn. Remove from heat and let it chill. Garnish with powdered cinnamon and ENJOY!.

Thanks for visiting and Feliz Navidad to you all!!!
