Stripe Bags

Before I started blogging I read many many blogs. After reading blogs for months I decided to open my own. (I bet the same thing happened to some of you out there ^_^). One of the first blogs I read was Attic24. She crochets colorful and beautiful things!!!. If you visit, you'll see pictures of teacups, fireplaces, blankets, it's just very very cozy. Lucy, (that's her name) made a beautiful bag for her yarn, and so I made one for me from her pattern. This was some months ago... wanna take a look?

I added some flower to it. She also has the patterns for these little flowers.

Scalloped edge... It makes everything prettier (to me). :)

I'm working on my second bag. I'm using the three colors I can't get enough of... brown, blues, and greens... These time I'm using my own pattern, it's very similar. The only thing is that I'm not following hers, step by step... you know what I mean?... Here's what I have so far...

What do you think???!!!

I'll be showing you very soon the finish product ;)... Oh!!! and I'm planning to put many many flowers on this one...

Thanks for stopping by!!! ;)

My Creative Space

This week I've been working on my polymer clay buttons and charms, I LOVE IT!!!. I've made lots and lots of charms and buttons. I also made some beads for flowers I crochet before. I think I mentioned that I've been making "jewelry" since I was little and now I make my own beads! isn't it cool?! I miss my hooks and yarns though :\. I promised I'd show you more of what I've made so far, so here it goes...

This is what's on my desk right now, well, I'm actually on my computer but, before I started writing hehe... These are some of the buttons, Christmas buttons, I just have to make the little wholes, and bake them :)

Tiny tiny hot dog! Yummy

A little cupcake!

Some more Christmas buttons!!!

These are charms, for either bracelets, earrings, jewelry, etc.

So, here's what I've made this week. I hope you like them! I'll be showing you more soon!

My new hobby?

Good Morning!!! I'm excited to show you a bit of what I've been making. Everything started while walking around in Joann Fabric (Craft Store). I've always wanted to work with clay, I even took 2 ceramic classes in high school, the only thing was that I didn't have a kiln or anything like it, and you know that regular clay can be a bit messy. So, I decided to experiment with polymer clay!!!, easy to use, no mess, and you bake it in your regular oven, plus! there are BEAUTIFUL colors available. And so it began...... let me show you what I've made....

I love love love! to make this tiny things. Some of them are charms and some are just a fun-handmade buttons. I think I want to experiment more with this... I'll show you more pics nect time... Thanks for stopping by

Officially Back

Wow!!! I don't even know where to start. It's been so long since the last post. I once read on a blog that once you stop writing for a while, it's hard to get back on the habit of writing "frequently". It is TOTALLY TRUE! I was worried because sometimes, I can be the person who starts something and doesn't finish it. I had to tell myself: Victoria! you can NOT! quit this. Now, I have to start writing as much as I did when I started the blog. I have several things and projects that I want to show you :). Thanks to those who visited me and waited for me to get back ^_^.

So, where were we? on my last post I told you I was on Orlando right? visiting my family?. I stayed there for a couple of weeks and came back to Venezuela 3 days ago. I moved back here, remember I used to live in Panama? Well, now I'm here! I promised you pictures right? I'm gonna have lots of time to show you Venezuela :). I bet that most of you know about Venezuela because of Chavez ("the president") well, there's a lot more here than bad-corrupted-abusive politicians. Yes, I don't like him! but this is not a blog about politics, so I'm going to stop here.

Let me show you some pics of my trip...

So, let me tell you! My mom lives about 3 blocks from the beach. This was the first time I visited her house. I left Orlando before she moved there, so I didn't really know what I was missing hehe... It's a beautiful place!. Oh! and the water was really cold, in case you didn't noticed my expression.

I took this picture on Lake Windermere. Beautiful lake! and the houses there were Amazing!

Sunset at my dad's. There's a little lake behind his house...

Hidden Garden. Behind some shoppes in Winter Park. Beautiful right?

And of course! the Happiest Place on Earth!!! It really is :) We had an amazing time at Disney. It's always fun.

Disney's Hollywood Studios!!!

Here it is guys! my first post in more than a month, wow!!! Thanks for visiting again :)

Ciao, Ciao!!!
